The Board is responsible for licensing and certifying appraisers to perform real estate appraisals in North Dakota pursuant to Title XI of FIRREA. The Board establishes qualifications; issues permits to qualified applicants; approves qualifying and continuing education courses; investigates complaints; administers disciplinary actions to persons in violation of the rules, statutes and uniform standards and regulates matters pertaining to the conduct of real estate appraisers through the effective administration of Title 101.
