The Commission protects the public through establishment and administration of minimum requirements for candidates and licensees, effective professional education of licensees and enforcement of professional conduct.

The Division is responsible for the licensing and regulatory supervision of the following: check cashing companies; deferred presentment companies; flexible credit companies; mortgage brokers, lenders and servicers; and industrial loan and thrift companies.
The Division works to handle consumer complaints and educate consumers on the latest scams and threats that could cause harm.
