New Mexico Regulation and Licensing Department

The Real Estate Appraisers Board within the Department licenses and regulates real estate appraisers and appraisal management companies in New Mexico. It is illegal in New Mexico to appraise without a license issued by the Board. The Board receives and investigates complaints filed by members of the public against real estate appraisers and holds disciplinary hearings when necessary.
