The Division is the regulatory agency responsible for the examination, supervision, chartering, merger and liquidation of all State-chartered credit unions. The Division also responds to consumer requests or complaints in regard to credit union services or operations.
The Commission's responsibilities include investigating complaints generated by consumers against the acts of a real estate licensee and auditing real estate escrow accounts to verify proper handling of buyers' earnest money. The Commission also approves all real estate prelicensing and continuing education courses. The Commission performs duties necessary to carry out the provisions of the real estate license law.

These objectives are carried out by a staff of commercial bank examiners, specialized trust examiners, savings and loan examiners, consumer credit examiners, and an office support staff dedicated to continuously improving working relations with our customers.

The Attorney General's Office works to protect consumers and ensure a fair marketplace by enforcing Missouri's Merchandising Practices Act, as well as other laws. By filing complaints, consumers let the Office know about unscrupulous businesses and individuals. The Office also mediates complaints between business and consumers.
