The mission of the Boards and Commissions that have contracted with the Division is to take action and protect the public with respect to licensed/registered individuals. The Boards are legally authorized to take disciplinary action against an individual only when the individual has violated the statutes and rules governing the individual's profession.

The Attorney General seeks to fulfill the responsibilities of the office through public education, voluntary dispute resolution and enforcement of consumer-related laws and rules.
The Commission administers the Real Estate License Law regulating real estate brokerage in Idaho. It issues licenses to real estate brokers and sales associates, develops and oversees education programs and licensing exams, and investigates complaints and takes disciplinary actions for violations of the license law.
